Winter Solstice Palette
Understory watercolours are crafted in small batches from natural, earth based pigments. Each pan of paint is carefully mulled by hand with a simple formula tailored to each pigment. Paint pans are poured and dried in layers to minimize bubbles and cracks and to make sure they’re as full as possible.
Winter Solstice - A somber set of colours to celebrate the return of the light after the darkest time of the year. Pleiades is a deep navy with Mica shimmer, Eclipse is a metallic silver/grey graphite and Lamp Black is a dark, cool black for the longest night of the year.
This set includes a halfpan of each colour, tucked into a small metal tin for storage.
